Nice Guy wrapped it's final episode last night and it was simply brilliant ; not satisfying enough if to be compared with what the plot has offered us but still was nothing I would complain about. Although many of us doubted on the happy ending possibility of this drama, we did received a nice sweet happy ending we were all striving for. Eventhough I couldn't sit still until the last 15 minutes of the finale; I was sick to my stomach wondering what's next, this is THE drama that is fast moving to my top 5 must-watch-again drama list. I doubted a happy ending was possible because in most of the dramas I've watched, a happy ending came with the death of it's 2nd lead (good looking usually) character but no, Joon Ha survived! Oh my handsome boy, I'm hoping to see you in many more projects in future, I'll be cheering for you. HWAITING! A good, well-spent 10 weeks it was but while enjoying the trip for the past 10 weeks with anxiety pills as company, something maldo andwae popped up in our mind and not sharing with you guys is simply a waste. But, let me warn you this is just for laugh and possibly a nice break from the intensity Nice Guy has been giving us for these past 10 weeks.

What if there's an alternate ending to Nice Guy ? A twisted, covulated, formulated, Makjang-ish ending where fate still hates our characters and some of them will lead a mundane life.
In our ending, there will probably be some details that you may have not remembered (or just missed out on entirely) like, Joon Ha being gay. In one of the earlier episodes, Eun Gi made a comment along the lines of "Joon Ha, you can totally see me naked because you eez gay." and Eun Gi swore she'll keep his 'secret' to her grave. That plotline never did go anywhere and we found out VERY SUBTLY (they didn't even say it outright) that Joon Ha actually loves Eun Gi and thus, not gay.
But what if he is gay ? Joon Ha loves Eun Gi but just as a sister and when Maru came into the picture, Joon Ha is aghast that his feelings for this strapping young man is too great to be ignored. Throughout the series you may pick up the subtle/not subtle hints that Joon Ha thinks highly of Maru (Read: totally in love with Maru)
So in this last episode, it revolves around Joon Ha. The second lead who never gets the girl but in this case, the one who will never get the boy. Sigh. And so, Min Young plans to kill Maru by driving him off a cliff. A car chase ensues with Joon Ha in tow in his car. Min Young rams Maru's car so hard that they both went flying into the air and flipped both their cars. The concussion that Maru received in that accident made it hard for him to move half of his body.
When Maru finally crawled out of the car, Min Young is hovering above him; pointing a gun to his head. Maru provokes Min Young to buy some time, and like the stupid villain that he is, Min Young tells Maru about his world domination plan. How he plans to make Jae Hee his
"KILL ME. Kill me, Min Young. The love I have for that man is too much for me to bear. I hope in another life I get to be with this man, but for now let me just do him one last favour. Because that's all I can do. I can't love him, I can't touch him; but at least I can make him happy. What do you get from all of this Min Young ? You're killing a man for a woman who doesn't even love you. Just do us all a favor and kill us both, Min Young."
Tears rolled down Joon Ha's face. Min Young, unfazed, points the gun to Maru's head and pulls the trigger. A pool of blood starts to form, a shot of blood trickling from a wound. Joon Ha's wound. A second gunshot is heard and Min Young collapses. Eun Gi with the cops arrive.
Maru strokes Joon Ha's face and said, " We'll meet again someday." And that is how the second lead dies.
And Min Young dies as well. Told you there'll be at least one death. As cliche Makjang story goes, Jae Hee gets thrown into jail, Maru dies 2 months later due to his hematoma and Eun Gi apparently found out that she is preggers ........ with Joon Ha's baby ?!
The other version :
I expected Lee Kyung Hee would have gone all out with the ending but no she didn't. She decided to stick with the normal instead of striving for something risky. I secretly wished Ma Ru's memory lost would make him more than just a mere doctor. I wish he has turned himself into an ingenius moghul and wished he would begin a new life far away from anyone he knows with Choco and Jae Gil. Han Jae Hee didn't just only received 7 years of jail but instead drive herself crazy not being able to face reality while serving in the jail and ended taking away her own life. Joon Ha could have marry Eun Gi and live happily but he ended dying after a few years due to his past accident injury (READ: hematoma). Maru could have crossed path with Eun Gi again and while Eun Gi tries to relive what they once had, Maru said he's not interested in her and a little boy comes running to him calling him "APPA"..
