U-KISS ; STOP GIRL

The track offers a more mature and smooth sound from U-KISS. Finally U-KISS gets to be manly men and get ultra sexy. The song is very Usher-like and also reminds me of Boys 2 Men. U-KISS pulled off the song which was produced by Ryan Jhun and JD Relic due to their perfect calibration of rap and vocals. 'Stop Girl' is bringing back the more slow and sexy R&B back with a more modern twist. I'm pretty sure fans and listeners of the song will appreciate a more clean and crisp sound coming from these boys. Reminiscent of 4Men a wee bit (but ya know, in a K-Pop Boy Band vibe). This song feels like they are in it to win it, and it being a trophy of some kind. They pretty much deserve it after all these years but I have a strong feeling that they will come home empty handed yet again. With GD and PSY rising up more and more each day, I doubt 'Stop Girl' will have a chance. They should sack whoever had the idea to debut the song at this time. YES

There is also an English version of the song. The lyrics are good, but a bit too rhyme-y for my taste. They also sound a tad bit autotuned in the English version than the Korean version. I don't really know why. Maybe the same person who decided to debut the song at such a horrible time made that decision. If so, they should fire him/her. DOUBLE YES

I am also very impressed by the back-up dancers especially the girls in the video as well as in their performances. They're dancing to the same song, (almost) the same dance moves, and with the same vigour and precision as the boys BUT in high heels !

Fashion wise though, I am in love with their suits. If I were a boy, I would definitely wear what they're wearing in the video. There is a lot of textures and prints going on in their suits which gives it a unique quality; not too exaggerated nor over the top, just the perfect amount. Soohyun's snake print like shirt/sweater would also be in my closet right now if I knew where to buy it. 

But what is up with Dong Ho's half pixie half bob hair and his whole outfit during that segment ? I like the other Dong Ho, where he has his hair crimped to ultimate perfection and suited up with a semi-traditional black and white suit (Semi- traditional because he has only half of his blazer). But why is there 2 Dong Ho's ? Why is his first image differ so much from his other one ? WHY STYLIST NOONA WHY ? All the others have some kind of continuity but Dong Ho looks like the heroine of the MV ..... oh that's why. Maybe Dong Ho IS the heroine here.

Eli's hair can also die a very slow death. Yellow is not in people; bleached or blonde is fine but who dyes their hair yellow these days anymore ? Just no. But I guess he totally makes up for it with his dreamy eyes. Hmmm His hair looks less yellow during their performances THANK GOD. So it's either they rebleached his hair to look at least decent or it's just the lighting or they fired the initial stylist noona's. TRIPLE YES.

All in all it is pretty good track with a decent music video. They will not walk away with any trophies this time around but I do wish them the best in the future. HWAITING !
