Today's talk : Who among the celebrities today were once athletes?

Celebrities are always expected to be good at their respective fields only, either it's singing or acting and nothing more. Despite so, this celebrities have their own history before starting their career as actor, actress or singer. Many celebrities today left their athletic career behind for a not-so glamorous life in front of the camera and who exactly are they ?

1. Song Joong Ki

Believe it or not, this flower boy used to be a short track speed skating athlete up till his 2nd year in middle school. He also previously showed his short track skills in his drama 'Triple' playing a role of a national representative for Korea. 

2. So Ji Sub 

This actor who is currently busy promoting his latest movie 'A Company Man' previously got accepted into Korea National Sports University with his talent in swimming. He has also participated in a Youth Swimming Competition as representative of his school, KwangSung High School and won third place in 100m category with a record of 10.65 seconds. 

3. After School's UEE

This beauty used is well-known for her talent in swimming. During her debut days, she was well-known for having an athlete body. She even requested for the Idols Sports Championship to be added with swimming category.

4. Yoon Hyun Min 

Actor Yoon Hyun Min used to be a baseball player for Doosan Bears before venturing into acting. After watching Uhm Ki Jun's acting in Finding Mr. Destiny's musical, he decided to leave his career as a baseball player behind and begin attending acting school. 

5. Min Chan Gi

Actor Min Chan Gi (Shut Up Family!) used to be a pro-gamer in MBC Game Hero Program. After the team broke up, he decided to start acting. 

6. Lee Joon Ki

Have you ever wonder why is Lee Joon Ki so good at kicking and punching villains in drama or movie? Why did most directors said that he will be easily accepted into action school if he wants to? It's because he used to be a taekwondo athlete. This Busan born and bred actor even represented his hometown in Taekwondo.

7. B2ST's Yoon Du Jun

Yoon Du Jun who is now a soccer player for celebrity team, FC Men was once a soccer player in school. His ambition was  to be a Physical Education teacher but he ventured into singing after seeing Big Bang's MTV documentary despite opposition from his teachers and parents.
