Heirs, things you need to know about it

With its star-studded cast, respectable director and writer coming together for this drama, I can safely infer that Heirs will touch your soul in a different way. I am not sure about how things are going with this drama as the ratings keep fluctuating like shares on Wall Street now that we're actually third week into the drama but personally I love this drama. It's not impressively woah and I completely understand why people may not like it. But one thing for sure you really can't look at things at a superficial level in this drama cause if you do, it'll just look so damn distorted you want to bang your screen or fall asleep.
Now let's not go to the superficial level of, Eun Sang and Tan living in the same house cause I'm pretty sure everybody knows about that already.

1. They all go to the same school

By they, I mean everyone in the poster. Although Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) was not initially in Jeguk High (also owned by Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho)'s family), by courtesy of Tan's dad, Cha Eun Sang is enrolled in Jeguk High (or Empire High) fully sponsored. It's apparently one of the best elite school in Korea and one pair of uniform do costs about 1000 USD. Talk about quality.

2. Kim Tan is a good boy

Despite being the so-called lucifer of Empire High, Kim Tan is a goody two shoe when he's at home. A damn good looking one too. He loves his brother (who hates him) and his family; never rebel to what his brother said and is always hoping that his brother will look at him the same way. He does give a rebellious upfront when he's in school but when he's not, he's number 3 on the kindest person list in this drama (Chan Young (CN Blue's Min Hyuk) comes first, of course). Also, he treats Eun Sang oh so kindly , although expressing his emotion through words may not be his best quality. Go Kim Tan!

3. Kim Tan's dad is playing cupid

Probably the least expected person to play cupid, knowing his cold character. In the 5th episode, Kim Tan's dad found out that Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang has known each other when he was in the US. Also, he knows this son of his made a chaos at Eun Sang's school earlier that day. Realizing that Eun Sang is actually the maid's daughter, he decided to sponsor Eun Sang to Jeguk High as a token of appreciation to her mother (also perhaps to lift her social status higher with education so that she's a match to Kim Tan). This is not the first time Tan's daddy is doing so when he had actually done the same to Kim Won's now girlfriend, Jeon Hyun Joo (Lim Ju-Eun) when she was younger. She mentioned in one of the scenes that she has been sponsored all her life by the Jeguk Group family, it's time for her to only get what she work for. Since it is still early to be sure on how pure is Tan's dad intention, I'm hoping that he is planning to do good.

4. Lee Bo Na is Kim Tan's ex-girlfriend
As much as I would like to overlook this, the storyline keep reminding me of how important this relationship used to be. Years have passed and gifts from Lee Bo Na (Krystal) is still safely stored in the wine cellar and Tan actually smiled thinking of those days they had together. CUTENESS.
Moreover, Chan Young being the considerate boyfriend even though he knows Lee Bo Na is pretending that she's nothing with Kim Tan is just, another level of best boyfriend ever. *squeals*

5. Choi Young Do is insecure of Kim Tan
Yeap, he is. Don't you dare try to deny me because it's clearly on his face that he is absolutely insecure of Kim Tan and he who used to be the best of friends with Kim Tan, clearly misses him so much. He does play the tough guy thing really well but he can never hide that beneath the mask, he's just another high school guy missing his best pal. The fact that he warned Kim Tan to leave before he tells everyone that he's the mistress's kid is simply another level of inferiority. Not cool, absolutely not cool.

6. Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) and Jo Myung Soo (Hyung Sik)'s bromance
With his cutesy acts (well acted, I have to say) and Hi, my name is Myung Soo to every new kid in school without caring the social status, Jo Myung Soo is probably the only character that you will never ever hate. Besides, Young Do and him really plays it well in let's prank our little sister (Lee Bo Na) thing together, they'll make you think that the typical high school vibe still in fact exist, regardless Heirs being a story evolving elites.

Heirs may just be another drama filled with "Bitch I'm fabulous" kids, it is still definitely worth watching cause there are moments which words can convey. Don't get me started how adorable Kim Tan and Eun Sang is..
