If there's one drama I'm highly anticipating on, it has to be Lee Seung Gi's upcoming "Ancient's Medical Book" which is set to air after The Horse Healer ends on MBC as Mon-Tue drama. Miss A's Suzy will be playing the leading lady and Lee Seung Gi is said to be playing a half human-half beast character named Choi Kang Chi. The highlight is undeniably the fact this will be Lee Seung Gi's first sageuk challenge although of course, playing with mystical character is pretty much his forte now. Hi Gumiho!! *waves* Choi Kang Chi is said to be battling with his own inferiority complex as he tries his best to live as a normal human being. This is going to be good and since everything is falling into place with even the first episode's script said to be printed priorly. Filming will take place in Jeju Island for a month beginning January 28th.
As of today, the production team has confirmed that Lee Yeon Hee (ooh more gorgeous ladies) is joining the team. Although she will only be making a special appearance, her character is said to be essential for the development of the story. SM Entertainment too revealed that Lee Yeon Hee is working very hard on this as it is one of the most anticipated drama of the year.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi is said to have signed his endorsement contract with Pizza Hut for the 4th consecutive year, the longest ever marked in the history of pizza advertising model in Korea.
