First look at 'I Miss You'
Wow, has it been that long since a Makjang ever airs on TV? Cause I'm feeling a little reminiscent of the Kim Tak Gu days, not that I missed it though. I'm definitely more than happy having Nice Guy satisfying my drama whim. Nope, I still don't want to admit it's the best drama ever, so please don't make me. I miss you kickstarted on November 7th with the child actors laying the foundation of the drama before we get into the Han Jung Woo (Yoochun) and Lee Soo Yeon (Yoon Eun Hye) in this upcoming weeks. However, we did get a quick fast forward on how those two will end up in present; pictorial wise I like. Story wise however, it's a different story.
As mentioned, it's unequivocally another Makjang story. It touches all the serious, melancholy points exactly how a makjang should be. On the first episode, we see Kim So Hyun losing her dad after his death sentence for a murder crime he commited and how her relationship with Kang Yeong Joon,Han Jung Woo begun. As we moved on to Episode 2, we were brought to the progress of little Han Jung Woo and Lee Soo Yeon in nothing but filled with adorable moments. How ironic; Kim So Hyun once played Yeo Jin Gu's leading lady's rival and now she's the lover. I have so much hate towards Kim So Hyun due to her character in MoonSun but I'm completely sold by the first few minutes of I Miss You. Kim So Hyun is the perfect epitome of a younger Yoon Eun Hye; they almost look alike sometimes.
Kim So Hyun is an outstanding actress and with Yeo Jin Gu, they are for real the best child actors I've came across. Although it's probably Makjang, I'm thrilled to ride on the I Miss You bandwagon because I enjoy watching Kim So Hyun and Yeo Jin Gu. The rating might have dropped only by the 2nd episode but that's partly because Nice Guy is doing spectacularly well. This drama's future is still as vague as it can ever be and probably will be bringing you brimful of tears but I really hope the screenwriter has a sturdy script in hand and doesn't has a serious mood swing disease. Cause by then, I'll be out.
