Today's talk 2 : Psy's many achievements

I'm not sure where to begin cause he just has too many of them. I'm considering to make this an official section of this blog, what say you? I'm pretty sure we need to talk about this Korean dude all the time. He is phenomenal. Daebak. Awesome. or simply Gangnam Style. He definitely does not need swag check. Hi G-Dragon!

1. Gangnam Style's MV is nominated at MTV EMAs

Say what? Yes guys, his hit video is nominated as 'BEST VIDEO' at MTV EMAs. Following Big Bang's footstep into EMAs, Psy is now taking the spotlight away from Big Bang (and VIPs for sure do not have any problem with that right?) into his own. He is nominated among Hollywood top names, to name a few - Rihanna & Katy Perry (and they're both are his fans, how cute is this?). You can show your support by voting here.

2.  He made it through american music industry
He targeted for Gangnam Style to be a hit in South Korea and only South Korea but he ended up doing the cheesey dance with Britney Spears on The Ellen Show. He guested on 'On Air with Ryan Secreast', The Ellen Show, NBC Today Live Show and even planning to have a solo concert in Madison Square Garden, New York City. You know what they say..believe in the impossibles.

3. He stood on MTV stage and spoke korean
He set straight with Scooter Braun that he did not want to change his korean lyrics and his dream is to hear korean songs being played in the US. He went to the VMAs and spoke korean when he's affluent in english. Why did he do that? Cause he's proud of his own country and language (and we respect him for that).

4. Gangnam Style made it into Times Urban Dictionary

If we were to add anything into the meaning of Gangnam Style, we would say swag. Yeap, you say what ? Swag? I'm not sure what you're talking about, maybe if you've said Gangnam Style we can sit down and talk.

5. He does his own hair 

Since he picked up some skills from the hair saloon his mother own, he has been doing his hair on his own since he was 10 years old. This fact was revealed by Psy himself on KBS 'Star Life Theatre' aired on September 17th. The stylist even mentioned that Psy is very good at it so she doesn't feel the need to step in. 

6. He changed how the world look at South Korea 

I'm not sure how the rest of the world look at South Korea before this, but me who has personally been spending the past years surrounded by korean culture, I think it's a pretty amazing country. But with Gangnam Style's popularity, most of the netizens in South Korea agreed that Psy has greatly contributed to the country's image (and can we add up economy!).

This is just a dip into his many achievements, he has done many more for sure. Not to mention his great achievements in South Korea before gangnam style but if we look closely into this matter, Psy's not perfect. He doesn't have the look but he has what it takes to be a world star. Great mind, great skills and classy style.
