Today's talk : IU's 4th Anniversary #IU4ever

Today is the nation's little sister 4th anniversary since her debut on September 18th 2008.  Hence, today's talk is going to be about this adorable girl, Lee Ji Eun or can we say lady who has achieved so much in the past 4 years despite being only 19 years old(international age). 

She may be a sparkling star now but the roads to her success were not all sparkles. There were downfalls in her career. She was once rejected at a JYP audition, she also did not gain any remarkable success with her debut song but with her following album 'Growing Up', she was able to break through into the mainstream. And the literal downfall in her career was when she slipped not once but a few times in public and on camera gaining her the 'clumsy IU' nickname or in korean '꽈당(kkwadang) IU'.

IU tumbled on the floor at 2011 Melon Music Awards and once again at ‘2011~2012 KB Kookmin Card Pro Basketball All-Star Game‘ at the Jamsil Stadium.

She slipped when she was performing 'Good Day' at MBC's '2012 DMZ Peace Concert' 

She slipped at her CF filming set and it was recorded on camera while she was also filming for KBS 'Entertainment Relay'.

We can officially declare here that Clumsy IU definitely suits her best. With or without a wet floor, she just know how to tumble down. 

Now to her achievements in the industry. 

1. She gained the nation's little sister title due to her various personality traits. 
2. She topped Billboard's 'K-pop Hot 100' chart for three weeks in a row beating out Leessang,  G.Na and Taetiseo with her previous album 'Spring of a 20 years old' in May 2012. 
3. Her national tour 'Last Fantasy' pre-sale tickets sold out in 30 minutes time.
4. She helped raise $17,600 in 2 minutes time at a fundraising program
5. IU held a live showcase at Tokyo's Bunkamura Orchard Hall on January 24th 2012 and was the youngest korean singer ever to perform there.
6. IU rank at #3 behind Girls Generation and Big Bang in Top 40 Celebrities in Korea reported by Forbes Korea.
7. She composed and wrote her own song, Peach.

Besides that, one of her personal achievements that deserves a round of applause is the fact that Jung Il Woo chose her as his ideal type. We're huge fans of Jung Il Woo and no doubt we got absolutely green-eyed when Jung Il Woo named her as his ideal type.

Her achievements throughout her career are great but what stole our heart is her adorable personality.

1. She once had a 'verbal battle' with her agency on twitter. This was too hilarious that at the very moment we knew, if we ever get to meet IU we're gonna be bestfriends.
2. She and Yoo Seung Ho are very awkward yet very cute together. One of the author here surmised that Yoo Seung Ho and IU might have dated once. Resulting the awkwardness, see the logic? Watch for yourself here.
3. She tried to be sexy but she's too innocent for it.

IU is a name derived from the words, You and I. We love the unique name and we cannot ever imagine any other name on her. It fits her perfectly as she is one of the singers that is really good at fanservice. She even made a song for her fans in celebration of her 4th anniversary since debut. Do we need to say more here? We're not sure about you but we're glad that IU was disqualified from JYP's audition because if she wasn't she would not have been the IU we love today. 

Before we end this post about IU, we need to emphasized the fact that B2ST members are IU's fanboys. How cute are they?

IU also said before that she thinks she has a face like a girl next door, no way IU!
