Today's talk : G-Dragon, Psy, B2ST, Lee Hyun Woo

There are times when there are so many things going on in the mainstream media that we find the need to pinpoint what's important. Today's talk is gonna be about what we think and what has been going on in the kpop scene. It will be officially replacing What Happened Today as for time constraint we don't have the time to recap everything.

The first topic today is G-Dragon's comeback. G to the D is coming back and aren't you guys feeling the vibe already? The latest news in kpop scene, we are introduced to G-Dragon's latest track ; Missing You feat. Kim Yun Ah. To be exact the singer-songwriter G-Dragon himself is introducing us the inspiration and what kind of track will this be.

Missing You is said to be the most relatable song of his album but what makes it so relatable? As you can guess, it's a love song (kpop is all about love guys) but what's interesting is that GD is bringing back the old kpop tune or can I say, upgrading the old kpop into something fresh to the ears of not just for the youngsters but will also be able to relate by the older generations. Guys this is what I love about GD ; he is very diverse in his music style, he doesn't stick to a thing but he tries to explore all the possibilites and fuse it into something his. You can watch the full clip here with english subtitles.

Up next is Psy - that guy from Korea. He is making it big globally and is the sole kpop artist that had been able to breakthrough American music scene without trying hard. You know what he said- Dress classy, Dance cheesy.  Make sure to keep that in mind.

Back in 2007, Psy appeared on Kang Ho Dong's knee-drop guru. If you are not familiar with this, it's a variety show where celebrities usually tell their dilemma to Kang Ho Dong and he will tell he/her what they should do. When Psy appeared back in 2007, he said that he wanted to be a legend like Yang Hyun Suk. Kang Ho Dong advised him that he will only be able to do so if he does it in his own way. To be exact, Kang Ho Dong even mentioned 'Psy-style' which is almost similar to what's making him tremendously well-known right now - Gangnam Style. Psy-style means a national singer that receives praise for 30 years in the 21st century. The term refers to Psy's style from hair, costumes, music to views on life and entertainment. It also describes the boldness of creating a pioneering and adventurous style that is not easily broken. Since this is not the first time Kang Ho Dong has been able to do so, perhaps he is a little bit psychic, no?

Besides, what is being talk on now is also about B2ST's Lee Ki Kwang. There were news, rumors, speculations that said Lee Ki Kwang will be leaving his post as permanent on MC on KBS Win Win for B2ST's advancement into Japan and this upcoming September 27th will be his last episode. Although it is not 100% untrue, the PD-nim of Win Win revealed that the production crew is still in dilemma and nothing has been confirmed yet up till now. Well not yet guys, if you've heard it somewhere it's not true. When it is, I'll get right back at ya.
