If you asked me why I waited until a week later to talk about their comeback, I'll say because I wanted to wait for their live performance. Spica is one of the best rookie group this year, their outstanding vocals shown through Doggedly prove that they are all prepared to break through to the mainstream. I'll be there however is different than their previous tracks, Painkiller and Russian Roulette, it's more bubbly. An astonishing transformation but they need a new stylist. Period
I'll be there is 90's inspired - the track is a solid mergence of 90's hip hop and current music which is a refreshing tune compared to what other idols these days are bringing. Auto-tunes aside cause SPICA has great vocals to serenade you with. Trust me after your first listen, you'll be mumbling I'll be there. I've been there and proudly done that.
Music Video - Can anyone enlighten me why do they need the cow to dj? I like the music video (could have like it more if it wasn't for the distracting cow), it's sweet and fun. It's a seal deal when I first saw the little girl because instead of whining over a man that you'll be there for him, SPICA chose to be there for the little girl who looks lost.
