K-Pop phenomenon, PSY has been taking over Hollywood as of late. With Katy Perry kissing him (on the cheek guys ...... and she liked it) and him taking over a whole stadium, it is as if by the end of next week, PSY will be the King of The Multiverse. I don't mind really. I just hope we as citizens of PSYdom have to dance to the song every morning because PSY, King of The Multiverse, said so.
PSY was featured briefly at the VMA's this week and was viewed by at least 600 million people. Not to mention him roaming the streets of Los Angeles (with Gangnam Style) and getting interviewed by TMZ. One must be honored when TMZ does a cover story on oneself and did not ridicule him (that much.) But to the TMZ correspondent who tried to learn the dance, I bid you luck, because you have two left feet.
PSY has also shared the stage at the MTV VMA's preparty with boy band, The Wanted. The boys wanted a piece of that delectable invisible horse and rode it all over the stage ! In all seriousness, who can resist the temptation that is 'Oppa Gangnam Style' ?
I am rather impressed though with the way these boys danced. Surely they are better than the TMZ correspondent. Although, I have a feeling it's because The Wanted are British and they also look like a cookie cutter K-Pop idol boy band. Dramatic backgrounds and all.
